Position Overview: As the Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, leveraging your experience to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to utilize your supervisory skills to lead and mentor a dedicated team of accounting professionals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Organize and perform the monthly close activities and coordinate that process with other involved departments.

 

• Prepare journal entries and review of journal entries prepared and recorded by team members.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
• Provide strategic guidance on financial matters, offering insights to support decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to support organizational goals and initiatives.
• Drive process improvements to streamline accounting procedures and enhance efficiency.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate accounting.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with a track record of mentoring and developing staff.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel;
